Take 5 minutes to loosen up your shoulders, back, and legs before diving into cleaning.
Use knee pads when kneeling, engage your core to protect your spine, and keep your back straight with core engaged while lifting.
Take breaks every 30-45 minutes to prevent fatigue and drink plenty of water.
Avoid twisting while lifting, use long-handled tools to reduce overreaching, and keep movements controlled.
Use a step stool instead of stretching too far when cleaning high areas. Keep objects close to your body when lifting.
Stretch at the end of your session to keep your muscles from stiffening up later.
By following SPRING, you can keep your home fresh while protecting your body. Happy and healthy cleaning!
