Let’s Walk, Neighbor: Rochester Hills (Week 2)

Join us for a 2-week walking program focusing on strength training and osteoporosis prevention. Each week, specific gait drills and exercises will be taught with an overall goal of improving walking ability. Week #1 will focus on lower body and core strength while week #2 will highlight strategies for improving bone health.
The meat of the class will be walking with the physical therapists providing feedback on what to work on. Our goal is to help people learn efficient and safe ways to incorporate a walking routine into their everyday lifestyle.
*Participants should be able to walk independently either with or without assistive devices
Week 1: October 8th, 12-1pm
Week 2: October 15th, 12-1pm
This is a 2-week program. By RSVPing, you will be registered for both classes.
