I have chronic neck pain and numbness/burning caused by injured spine cord and compressed nerves, I've been to many physical therapy places where they use factory line approach and gave me many exercises to do but not much manual therapy, at OMPT they really work hard on hands on manual therapy, they did really amazing job and helped me a lot with passion and I appreciate everything they did for me. Highly recommended
Would highly recommend Emily as a PT. Her and the staff were helpful and went above and beyond with my recovery. I am extremely happy with the outcome and progress made with my ankle injury. Additionally Amy and the billing department were a pleasure to work with and wanted to give them a shout out because of the constant headache I probably put them through with switching insurances a couple times. Thank you for working with me. Will be highly recommended this place to family and friends.
My 92 year old grandma has been seeing Jason for over two years. He had drastically improved her quality of life. She would have a Totally different life if it weren’t for pt twice a week. Jason is an instructor at Oakland University physical therapy program. He’s such a good teacher and it’s great to hear him teach the clinical students and we hear what he’s impacting during his sessions. My whole family is thankful.
OMPT Shelby has wonderful, friendly staff who take the time to get to know their patients and their needs. Brittany is an amazing Physical Therapist who has helped me reach my goals post op.
Staff very friendly and accommodating with scheduling for my daughter to get in and receive treatment for recovery. Jason Thomas is one of the most knowledgeable medical professionals I’ve met and has been on point with every injury or problem my family has brought to him to solve. Many other facilities closer to my home, but this one worth the little extra drive!

I was referred to OMPT Shelby by my PCM and it could not have been a better experience thus far. My therapist Emily is thorough and actively listen at each session to how I am progressing and if anything new has occurred. She exhibits experience in her craft and I feel her efforts are barring fruit as I am farther along than I would have imagined 6 weeks ago. I would recommend anyone I know to see OMPT Shelby with the highest of praise.
This is my second time utilizing OMPT of Shelby Township for my medical rehabilitation. The location is clean,bright and well equipped.I have the best PT, Brittany. She is very informative,caring and wants you to heal comfortably and carefully. Brittany has a great spirit and care for us. She needs a 10 star not a 5.The whole staff is great.
I’ve been here for two separate rounds of PT. The Shelby location is clean and organized and everyone who works there is professional, welcoming, and very friendly. I’ve sent my wife to this location and I’ve recommended it to friends. During my first round of PT due to a back injury, I worked with Brittany for about 3 months. The second time after another injury, I worked with her again and I just completed my last session. Brittany is - in a word - fantastic. She’s thorough, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, and I couldn’t have asked for a better therapist. I hope I never need PT again, but if I do, I’m going straight to the OMPT Shelby office and asking for Brittany.
OMPT Specialists have such Different Approach then normal Physical Therapy. Everyone was very professional and my personal experience working with Brittany was Fantastic! She asked direct questions in order to locate the pain and through her techniques I always felt better after. She took the time to explain and answer questions for me and offer suggestions so I could examine my office work area to see how I could reduce strain on my neck and shoulders when working on the computer.Appreciate all the help in getting back to my normal self again!
OMPT is a wonderful place to go to for physical therapy. Everyone there is really nice and friendly. My PT Specialist Brittany is So Awesome!! I went to OMPT for an episode of acute back pain. After careful evaluation by Brittany Teal, she was able to pinpoint my problems and initiate therapy. MRI taken after I began therapy, validated that her assessment was spot on. Therapy has relieved the back pain. She has been working with me to establish a safe exercise program that can be continued after discharge. This was a joint goal that we established early on. She gives excellent explanations, listens carefully and makes adjustments as needed each session. Brittany is an excellent therapist and I highly recommend her. She is supported by a great team. There is a welcoming and helpful atmosphere.
Excellent facility for rehab. Brittany was able to get me back to everyday activities a lot faster than I expected after my knee replacement. It took a lot of work on both of our parts but it is well worth it. She constantly asked questions as to how I felt and where I felt the biggest concern or problem was and would focus on that concern. She also made sure she explained what was causing the issue and what she was going to do to resolve it which made me feel extremely comfortable. Will definitely recommend others go to OMPT and request her. She may be small in stature but is giant in knowledge and ability.
I had my knee replaced in November 2021. Leading up to PT, I knew if I wanted to gain full mobility, I was going to have to really push through PT, as I was only at a 10% flex of my right knee.I am so so thankful I choose OMPT Shelby Township to get me through my recovery. I worked with Beth Henigan and she was a godsend. She pushed me and continued to work with me for five months. Long after my surgeon suggested I could stop if I wanted to. I was able to get up to 120% flex, which gives me a good outcome with daily living.I used to go with a hospital based PT but I will hands down go to OMPT for all my future PT needs.
I've seen Jason for multiple injuries, and he has always been professional and catered his care to meet my personal goals. He takes the time to listen to his patients and address their specific concerns. The rest of the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Very professional and clean facility

OMPT Specialist is amazing, I would give 10 stars if I could. I had Beth as my physical therapist and she took me from being not being able to walk a mile to running again. She takes the time to listen to her patients pains and knew exactly where to fix it. I would continue to go to them on a daily basis if I could! The staff is so friendly and fun to be around. They really try to help you do the workouts you need to do to get better. If you’re looking for a great physical therapy place to go to I would recommend this place hands down.
This place is where you need to go! They are all good. Stephanie is a great massage therapist and provides deals each month. I see Jason and can’t say enough kind words of his service! The entire staff is wonderful. Amy is who you usually see at the front desk checks you in so helpful and accommodating with your schedule and more. Everyone is so helpful Brooke, Jessie and I’m missing some of their names are always ready to assist you through your whole process! I really feel blessed that I found this place!
I had a total Knee replacement on February 1st. I started out patient therapy at OMPT 2 weeks after. I just have to say that Allison has been AMAZING I see her 2X a week and iAM 6 weeks out now and I can’t say enough about how she has helped me get back to my old self so quickly. I highly recommend OMPT To anyone that is looking for a great recovery. And just can added bonus the whole staff has been so kind and helpful as well.
I have been very pleased with OMPT in Shelby. The staff is polite and welcoming. Kali is knowledgeable and listens to your concerns. I am seeing improvement with my back problem finally after going to two other PTs.
